Step 2: Set Up Your Thetis Key
- Open Thetis Key Manager.
- Insert your Thetis Key into a USB port on your device.
- Select "Set PIN" and create a strong, 6-digit PIN. Ensure the PIN is secure and easy to remember but hard for others to guess.
- If you have a fingerprint-enabled model, after setting your PIN, you can enroll your fingerprint. Follow the on-screen instructions to scan and save up to 30 fingerprints for added convenience.
Note:
- iOS and Android apps are primarily for storing and reading TOTP codes.
- Mac and Windows versions of the Thetis Manager are required for setting up FIDO2 and managing PINs.
How to Reset Your Thetis FIDO2 Key
If you need to reset your Thetis FIDO2 Key, follow these steps:

- Click on the "FIDO" tab and select "Reset FIDO".
- A warning message will appear: "Warning! All FIDO-related settings and stored keys will be deleted and reset. OTP functions will not be affected."
- If your key is already inserted, the software will display: "Please reset within 10 seconds of powering up the device!"
- To proceed, unplug the key, repeat the steps above, and when prompted to reset, plug the key back in within 10 seconds. The screen will confirm a successful reset.
