Setup for Facebook

1. Turn On Two-Factor Authentication:

After login to your Facebook account, go to settings.

In the "security and login" tab, you will find the "Two-Factor Authentication" section. Now you can turn on the Two-Factor Authentication.

There are two ways to turn on the Two-Fator Authentication. One is to use SMS. The other is to use Authenticator Apps. We will introduce these two methods below.

1. Using SMS:

Fill your phone number and get the code from Facebook.

Enter the code you received and turned on the Two-Factor Authentication.

2.  Using the Authenticator App:

Authenticator App is a software token that implements two-step verification services using the Time-based One-time Password Algorithm (TOTP) and HMAC-based One-time Password Algorithm (HOTP), for authenticating users of mobile applications. (From Wikipedia)

You can download these apps from the iOS App Store or Google Play.

Let's choose the authenticator app.

After you scan the QR code on your screen, your app will show a one-time passcode every 60 seconds. (The QR code in this picture won't work for you)

The Two-Factor Authentication will be turned on after entering the code from your app.

2. Add Your Thetis Key

Let's begin to set up your Thetis key.

Now plug in your Thetis Key and press the button.

You can also edit the name of your key.

Click Save and Exit.

Now your account can use the key as the Two-Factor Authentication Token.

Logout and re-login to check it.

Don't remember your Browser if you want to use the key every time when you log in.
