After setting up your PIN and fingerprint, remember that these steps do not yet enable your Thetis Key with any web service. To protect an account, follow these steps for each service:
-
Log in to the web service you want to protect and go to Security Settings, look for Hardware Key, Passkey or Two-Step Verification (2FA/MFA) options.
-
Look for options to Add Security Key, Set up Passkey, or Enable Two-Step Authentication.
-
You can setup your Key in the following scenarios to protect your account
- Passwordless Login (Passkey) [GUIDE]: Use Thetis as a hardware passkey for passwordless login.
- 2-Step Auth Through FIDO [GUIDE]: Strengthen existing passwords with Thetis as FIDO2 2FA
- Secure OTP 2FA Code [GUIDE]: Store and Generate 2FA OTP codes more securely with Thetis instead of Google Authenticator.
-
Once registered, your Thetis Key will be enabled for secure logins with this service. Repeat these steps for any other accounts you want to protect.
