Step-by-Step Guide for Setting Up Thetis Key as a Hardware-Based Authenticator

Step 1: Launch Thetis Manager
  1. Open Thetis Manager on your PC or Mac. Ensure the software is running.

  2. Insert your Thetis Key into your computer’s USB port. The device will be recognized by Thetis Manager.
Step 2: Set Up TOTP in Thetis Manager
  1. In Thetis Manager, go to the "OTP" tab.
  2. Click the "+" button to add a new TOTP entry.
  3. Leave this window open as you retrieve data from your account (for example, Google).

  1. Go to your Google Account security settings.
  2. Select "Set up authenticator app".
  3. When you see the QR code, click "Can’t scan it?" to manually retrieve the key information.
