Prerequisite: 

The Thetis Pro Series FIDO2 Security Keys are already registered to your online account. And you only do the authentication on your phone with the Security key via NFC. 
We recommend to register your keys to you account on your PC/Mac. 

Compatible Keys:

  • Thetis Pro FIDO2 Security Key

  • Thetis Pro-A FIDO2 Security Key

  • Thetis Pro-C FIDO2 Security Key

Compatible Devices:

  • iPhone XS or later running iOS 17 or above

  • Android phones with NFC enabled

1. Using the Thetis Pro Series Security Key with iPhone (for Passkeys or FIDO2 2FA)

To use your Thetis Pro Series Security Key with an iPhone:

  • Place the key near the top-left corner of the iPhone’s front side, close to the front camera.

  • For better NFC detection, try adjusting the key into an "L" shape (Pro-A or Pro-C) or a "T" shape (Pro) when tapping.

  • Hold the key firmly against this area until the iPhone confirms the action.

2. Using the Key with Android Devices

For Android phones, place the key against the center back of the device. Hold it steadily until the phone detects the key and confirms the action.

3. Using the Key with the Thetis Authenticator App (TOTP Only)

⚠️ Note: The Thetis Authenticator App supports TOTP only, not passkeys or FIDO2 login.

When prompted by the app to scan your FIDO2 Security Key:

  • Position the key as described above (iPhone or Android, depending on your device).

  • Hold the key in place until it is successfully recognized.
